Emergency plumbing
If water is actively spreading, stop reading and call (615) 555-0188. A dispatcher answers day or night.
Shut the water off first
- 1. Find the main valve — usually at the front of the house or in a crawlspace.
- 2. Turn it clockwise until it stops. Ball valves rotate a quarter turn.
- 3. Open the lowest faucet in the house to drain remaining pressure.
- 4. Kill power to any circuit near standing water at the breaker.
What counts as urgent
- ▸Burst or leaking supply line
- ▸Sewage backing up into the house
- ▸No water at all
- ▸Gas smell near a water heater
- ▸Water heater leaking from the tank
- ▸Flooding from an unknown source
After-hours pricing
Nights, weekends, and holidays carry a $95 dispatch fee. Everything past that is the same flat rate you'd pay at 10am on a Tuesday — we don't multiply labor because it's dark out.
